Fiordland

So, where were we. My last message was on the North Island. There have not done much more. Sherlock Holmes looked in the bios with Stine and then drove to Wellington. My good friend David lives there so we have a few nights sleeping on the couch to wait for my ferry. Stine was on the North Island and went towards Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenua-kitanatahu 8-O (I kid you not) and I took the ferry.
That in itself was a story in itself because of the extreme weather conditions that we ended up. The boat was tossed up and down nice and everywhere was the service of the tables and people were surrendering. But unfortunately we could not go out so I have no pictures of : Lol: .

Anyway, I immediately drove further down because I have not been there. Milfort Sound was a visit there so I booked a cruise. It is a large bay with huge mountains and it's on the world heritage list. Some walls have beautiful colors from the minerals and metals. Zelfst gold can be found here, but get nothing gedelft because that world heritage list. And as always, my timing was pretty good because it was a dry day. And with over 8000mm of rain per year are quite rare there : Lol: .

The subsequent days, I made the Kepler Track. A multi-day hike that really, really beautiful. It is the most hike by many to be one of those few good days knows how to find. They predicted anything but good for those few days but for some reason I had yet again wonderful day with wonderful views. After the hike I took two Israeli girls towards Queenstown still drove to a fast ff party. But I keep it brief and to change the pictures the story told.

Nope, not the longest. But here they do have more of those ridiculous long Maori names. This means something: "The summit where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, the climber of mountains, the land-Swallower who traveled about, Played His nose flute to His loved one."

You ski a lot of fun! Now go read your message ;)

    exaggeration is an art:

    Climate
Milford Sound rainfall averaged 6813 mm and 182 days a year. This makes it the wettest place in New Zealand

      Hey Fvinnz,

If you had done more homework ff. Fiordland is one of the places in the world where the local annual rainfall varies the most. You have it with your 6813 probably not the place Milfort Sound and the bay itself, where the boat : Roll: .

      Wiseacre ;)

    Hi, Tim
Which is a spectacular trips you made again. Again, as usual, great photos with beautiful sheep (it look like snowballs). Now it's really time you return home again, because you are always risky adventures. (See photo, where you head just above water to keep!) Hope you can sell your car well and still enjoy it! Greetings from us all.
